Chairman of Intermolecular, Inc.
Dr. Bruce McWilliams is Chairman of Intermolecular, Inc. – the trusted partner for materials innovation. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, leading the change in business model and strategic directions. He has more than 25 years of executive and technical management experience in the semiconductor and electronics industry. Prior to his leadership roles at Intermolecular, Inc., he was Chief Executive Officer of SuVolta, Inc., a developer of low-power, high-performance technology. He served as Chairman of Tessera Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSRA) and was its Chief Executive Officer from 1999 to 2008. During his tenure, the company achieved compounded revenue and operating profit growth exceeding 50% annually which led to Tessera being cited by Business Week Magazine as the Second Hottest Growing Company in America in 2006. In 2005, Bruce received Ernst & Young's Northern California Entrepreneur of the Year award.

President and Chief Executive Officer
Chris Kramer is President and Chief Executive Officer of Intermolecular, Inc. – the trusted partner for materials innovation. Chris has more than 25 years of experience as a senior technology executive in the semiconductor and materials industry worldwide. He most recently was Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Entegris where he was responsible for business development aimed at upgrading the company’s sales and marketing capabilities, yielding improved customer relationships. Chris joined Entegris in 2014 after the acquisition of ATMI. In 2010, Chris was Senior Vice President of Materials Solutions at ATMI, where he was responsible for the company’s ion implant business operations and its gas and liquid storage and delivery systems. He was promoted to manage ATMI’s microelectronics materials business as its General Manager. Prior to ATMI, Chris was Vice President, Global Strategic Account Management, for Tokyo Electron America (TEL), where he was responsible for developing and maximizing strategic business and technology relationships with IBM and their alliance partners.
Chris holds a B.S. degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Navy as Surface Warfare Officer for seven years after receiving his degree and commission.
- Irwin Federman
Mr. Federman is a senior asvisor to U.S. Venture Partners and served as a general partner from1990 to 2015. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Monolithic Memories (MMI). After guiding the company from virtual bankruptcy to $250 million in revenues, he led MMI through its merger with AMD and became vice chairman of AMD. He served two terms as chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), and has also served on the board of directors of the National Venture Capital Association, as well as on the Dean's Advisory Board of Santa Clara University. He has received the Anti-Defamation League's Torch of Liberty Award, and the Brotherhood Award from the National Conference of Community and Justice. Mr. Federman received a B.S. in economics from Brooklyn College, and was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in engineering science from Santa Clara University.
- Marvin D. Burkett
A 40-year veteran of the semiconductor industry, Mr. Burkett joined our board of directors in 2011 and is the chair for the audit committee. Previously, he served as senior advisor to NVIDIA Inc., where he was CFO for seven years. Before that, Mr. Burkett served as the chief financial officer of Arcot Systems Inc. Mr. Burkett also served as an executive vice president and chief financial officer of Packard Bell NEC from 1998 to 1999. Previously, he spent 26 years at AMD in a variety of positions, including CFO, senior vice president, chief administrative officer, and corporate controller. Mr. Burkett also worked in the Semiconductor Division of Raytheon Company. In addition, Mr. Burkett has served as a member of the board of directors and the chair for the audit committee of the board of directors for Audience Inc., G2 Holdings Corporation, NetLogic Microsystems Inc., and Entegris, Inc. Mr. Burkett holds a master's in business administration and a B.S. in applied mathematics and business administration, both from the University of Arizona.
- George Scalise
Mr. Scalise is past president of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), an association of semiconductor manufacturers and suppliers. He came to SIA from Apple Computer, Inc., where he served as executive vice president and chief administrative officer, and has also held executive management positions at National Semiconductor, Maxtor Corporation, Advanced Micro Devices, Fairchild Semiconductor and Motorola Semiconductor. Mr. Scalise was Chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and also served on President George W. Bush's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. He is currently on the corporate boards of Cadence Design Systems, Intermolecular, and MindTree and previously served on the board of ATMI. He aso served on the California Council on Science and Technology and was a member of the Joint High-Level Advisory Panel of the United States-Israel Science and Technology Commission, and chaired the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board at the US Department of Energy. Mr. Scalise holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
- Kenneth H. Traub
Mr. Traub serves as a Managing Partner of Raging Capital Management, LLC ("Raging Capital") a diversified investment firm. Previously, Mr. Traub was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ethos Management LLC, and, he served as an Affiliate Partner of Rosemark Capital, a private equity firm. Mr. Traub also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of American Bank Note Holographics, Inc. (ABNH), a leading global supplier of optical security devices for the protection of documents and products against counterfeiting. Following the sale of ABNH, he served as Vice President of JDS Uniphase Corp., a global leader in optical technologies and telecommunications. Mr. Traub previously co-founded Voxware, Inc., a pioneer in voice over Internet protocol communication technologies, and served as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He also he served as Vice President of Trans-Resources, Inc., a multi-national holding company and investment manager. Mr. Traub currently serves on the boards of directors of MRV Communications, Inc., a leading provider of packet and optical communications network equipment, DSP Group, Inc., a leading global provider of wireless chipset solutions for converged communications, Athersys, Inc., a biotechnology company engaged in the discovery and development of therapeutic product candidates, and A. M. Castle & Co., a specialty metals and plastics distribution company. He previously served on the boards of directors of Phoenix Technologies, Inc., iPass, Inc., MIPS Technologies, Inc., Xyratex Limited, and Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation.
- Matthew S. Furnas
Mr. Furnas has been a Senior Analyst at Raging Capital Management, LLC, a private investment partnership based near Princeton, New Jersey, since 2010. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
